SUPPORTING PROGRAMME

Even though the races are naturally the centre of the event, many athletes feature the motto „participating is more important than winning!“ For the more ambitious however, the battle for medals is the centre of their attention. The award ceremonies take place in the evenings in an appropriate setting at the sports and event hall. 

The opening and closing ceremonies pose the official part for the athletes at the Masters World Cup; guests and locals are also invited to join the ceremonies and the entertainment programme afterwards.  

Tuesday, 7 March 2017 is rest day and may be filled with different activities or excursions. In the evening, a Champions Race is held in the "stadium sector". Famous athletes compete in a team competition together with prominent people.
